Submitting_to_exhibitions_.exe

I’ve recently hit a bit of a lull with my career as a fair amount of people have this year, and in doing so become somewhat complacent with my work, and dissatisfied in general with my style and subject matter.
To remedy this in a fashion befitting the end of the year, I’m looking for shows, exhibitions, and galleries to submit to and enter in.

One I’m currently considering is The 7th Annual Billboard Creative Exhibition put on by The Billboard Creative in Los Angeles, CA.

My current dilemma with entering is deciding the strongest images narrative and technical prowess wise to submit.
I’m considering sending in 3 images, and basing my selections off of their previous shows it would be a good idea to submit works that demonstrate higher thinking if not intense emotional imagery.

It’s all very subjective when submitting to juried and/or curated shows, and it’s a fair reason why I’m hesitant to submit to any.
Often times my work is generally too illustrative or obscure to be what a lot of people are looking for in a gallery. My style isn’t exactly “High Art” by general definition.
